Assistance: The quests in this region are divided up between aiding the farmers, with what some might describe as mundane tasks, and helping out an army seek out their target. You will be asked to help water their crops, feed their animals, and collect honey from some unusually large bees. You will even meet a fishermen who wants you to head up stream to clear out the zizani and crabs so he can go back to catching fish again. Amusingly, the voice-over for Protecting the Great Road directs you to the brigands in the west instead of north. The 5-part questline The Spectre and the Shadow stands out the most when Khaljûn asks you to investigate the Blade-horn location in the south. You stumble across a very unusual ghost story with the secretive Tarsâri cult at the heart of it all.
"No, he's not too big! What have I been feeding him? Whatever he wants to eat, of course!" - Mashûmi
The Chase: When you are done hunting down things for the locals, the army will be wanting you to gather intelligence for the one who escaped their grasp in the Crown of Hamat quest pack. Shâra Mizâdi in the 5-part Pursuing Bârshud questline will have you tracking down Ordâkhai at Jag Golód and meeting with the Doorwards at the eerily empty streets of Zajâna. These five masters keep watch over their domains, host a large number of books for visiting scholars, and broker information to those who they deem trustworthy. After helping them with a few tasks, they are more willing to share what they know. After interrogating the men by the Hall of Lajór, you learn Bârshud's ultimate goal is to seek out the Hûl and rebuild his army at Emax Dûl, in Idagâl.
"Perhaps she has a reason for the knife, and a target for it, other than Zajâna." - Sarâgh
Cooks: Those with the cooking profession might find themselves struggling to learn how to make ends meet (or endgame meat as it were). The crafting quartermaster has a single recipe for feeding lore-master pets. Most of the recipes are obtained from the instance cluster or group content quartermasters.
Adagim Catfish can be caught in Kighân as well as Adagim. The only difference between the two seems to be what else you catch swimming in the clean streams or rotting in the depths of the bog. Unlike the numerous types of fish that contributed to the pair of fish fillets for the level 150 cap, a single Adagim catfish is required to produce 5 (or 7 with critical) catfish fillets. There is about a 1 in 10 droprate (even with the maximum 200 fishing skill), but this time the developers added the fillet straight off the barter without the need to fish as a solution to raiders who complained about doing boring activities during the previous level cap.
However, the key recipe that you will want for daily turn-ins is the quest for Zajana Stew. While any character can do the quest, the recipe is bound to account. Using universal ingredient packs still count. OnnMacMahal commented in the Official Discord on January 30th that the 20-minute duration "is intended - the Zajani stew is meant primarily as a quest object/reward, and not the primary lvl 160 incomparable Might trail food."
"It tastes good, right?! Good enough for camp food, anyway." - Numûru
