Bounty Board: There are a number of different bounty quests available on various "bounty boards" across the Mûr Ghala regions. They always show the same ones; they do not rotate with new quests. They are available to do everyday. They do not count towards the Defending Mûr Ghala weekly quest available at level 160. You can obtain them before you reach the level cap. They function like a regional quest by providing you 300 reputation (added in Update 46.1) and basic rewards for completion. They can be shared with other players. Not all of the quests are available at the main settlements. The bounties are as follows:

  • Adagim, Sul Madásh - Shálith, Sóthadar the Trickster, Strákhal the Strangler, and Thagára.
  • Kighân, Zajâna - Jûkhtar of the Thousand Children, Korutásh the Cruel, Nâralarg the Blighted Root, and Shahâk Bloodtooth's Pup.
  • An Sheru, Khanâg Gur - Újumai the Earth-stirrer, Enudâri, and Têzdab the Butcher.
  • An Sheru, Jiret-menêsh - Biret-kôda, Fer-nefâsi, and Manyêki.
  • Idagal, Ahâba - Akílu the Feaster and Gírkhash. Please note that this board does not have "pages" attached that you click on but instead must click on the entire board for a list of quests.
  • Idagal, The Dawn-warden - Kasâshu the Grinder and Ershubât the Cradle-thief.
  • Idagal, Dur Nagu - Kasâshu the Grinder. Please note that this quest can be obtained from the character named Kabtam and is the same quest available from the Dawn-warden.

Bosses: The above quests will lead you to a number of named enemies that will contribute to the Hunter of Mûr Ghala meta deed. They named each region deed differently - Adversaries of Adagím, Combatants of Kighân, Enemies of An Shêru, and Invaders of Idagâl. The quest is not required for the deeds. They do not provide any rewards upon being defeated. There is one opponent on each list that generally requires a raid and contributes to the "Defender of..." deedsMore about that below.

Missions: In the beginning, there used to be 5 missions available in each of the 4 main settlements across Kingdom of Harad available everyday. With Update 47.1, there are now 30 missions with a two-day rotation with the 5 added to Sul Madásh and 5 included to Zajâna. There is not currently a mission stable-master route to these locations. In fact, traveling to and between the Kingdoms of Harad stable-masters is very limited with not even a route from housing. Unlike how the Legacy of Morgoth expansion offered reputation tokens upon completion, they decided to allow players to collect task items and turn them towards any of the four factions. These missions do not count towards the Mur Ghala weekly quests. They do count towards the mission weekly quests. Your rewards include a small number of  Mûr Ghala Sârzai regional tokens. There are not any new level bracket gear rewards.

The missions introduced with Kingdoms of Harad can be rather problematic. As if they were all designed by different developers, there is a lack of consistency across the board. Most of the missions will not contribute to the regional slayer deeds, but New Hides to Tan counts toward crocodiles and Sampling the Bog-lurkers counts toward the bog-lurker slayer deed. The operatives in The Knife's Secret are way too powerful with roughly 500,000 morale. You can accidentally leave the instance when dispelling the pedestals if you walk up the stairs in Fell Summoning. You can tell when you pick up good mushrooms in Questionable Morels by your wide-swinging motion and sound effect instead of luring an enemy with the animation that looks like you are picking up a heavy crate. Amusingly, the jackals in Prowling Scavengers also count towards the Safety and Shelter quest. The models for the corpse-flies in Flies in the Marsh are monstrous compared to the sickle-flies in the region and the bees in The Sweetest Reward are much larger than they are on landscape.

There's also an issue when it comes to locating the scout after a mission is complete. Normally, this isn't a problem since you can leave the instance immediately and turn in the quest. But if you activated a delving stone, this action would fail the challenge and not provide you with a replacement stone. Worse, the instance automatically kicks you out two minutes after completing the last objective. When finding enemies is already difficult when a number of missions are very large in scope, especially in Adagím, hurrying to the one spot before time runs out can be extremely frustrating. This isn't like the missions in Caras Gelebren where a dozen scouts appear all over.

Hunter's Guild

Daily Quests: There are 5 quests offered everyday from the Hunter's Guild south of Sul Madash on Malacal. There are no prerequisites and can be earned before reaching level 160. These are shareable among other players. They give 25 ember and one Badge of Valor currency each. The quests are designed to be done in a raid in the southeast portion of the map.

Weekly Raids: There are four special quests that rotate each week for an entire month. They are: The Curse on Kighân, The Malevolence of Idagâl, The Scourge of Adagím, and The Terror of An Shêru. They generally require a raid of at least 12 players but can go up to 24 players. They contribute rewards toward the Hunter's Guild faction. Make sure you do not pull these bosses too far outside their wander radius or you will not get credit.

Roving Threats: Two of quests above contribute to another type of quest labeled as "Roving Threats" from their respective areas: Agathar in Adagim and Bloodtooth in Kighan. They provide you a nice supply of Hunter Guild currency and available everyday. Because of this, the community tends to do these two bosses after completing the 5 daily quests. HC/RT (Hunter's Camp & Roving Threats) are the acronyms generally used in the /LFF channel. There are no quest prerequisites and you can obtain them even if you aren't level 160 (unlike the weekly quests above). You must physically obtain the quests from Sul Madash and Zajâna as they are not shareable.

Reputation: How you earn reputation with the Hunter's Guild can be a bit complicated. The quests mentioned above and a couple of other sources can provide you with Badges of Valor. These act as a currency for the barterer or earn reputation points towards the faction. Unlike the tokens that normally contribute 250 or 500, these tokens only provide you with 150 reputation points each. They are account-bound and requires a character to be at least level 150 to use as reputation. 65,000 reputation is needed to get from Outsider to Ally. This is equal to 433 of these tokens. Earning 11 of them each day - 5 from the dailies and 3 each from the Roving Threats - would take a total of 39 days. This can be cut down in half if you have Small Reputation Acceleration Tomes, earned by selecting the Character Boost reward box from the mission weekly quests, and more if you complete the quests with multiple characters. This calculation doesn't even consider how much is needed to obtain the items off the barterer. The daily quests themselves do not provide any exclusive reputation for the character upon completion.

Instances

Introduction: Three instances were introduced to Kingdoms of Harad in Update 46.1. The raid was introduced 91 days after the expansion released in Update 47. Each of the instances have their own associated questline. The 3-man instance The Treasure Caves of Hurum Kâna has perhaps the easiest and best quest that starts with Azagâya with The Brigand King to the entrance just outside Zajâna's walls. You will receive 3 Silver Serpents upon completion. The 6-man instance Kôth Rau, the Wailing Hold is given a nice helm reward at the climax of the main questline in An Shêru like how the 6-man instance Ekal-nêbi, the Fallen Palace is the climax of its main questline in Idagâl.

Contrary to what some might believe, the main questline in Adagím that leads you to the entrance of the raid is not the final quest in the story. The raid questline itself with all the background information is only made available after doing a a very sophisticated chain of events. Make sure to converse with the rangers at the entrance during the final quest before starting the raid. For those who were wondering, there isn't anything special offered other than your typical quest rewards for completing the whole chain. Discovering the entrance of an instance or raid is not required to do before booting one up, but you will need to be level 160 and own Kingdoms of Harad before being able to start one.

Weekly Quests: Similar to Legacy of Morgoth, you can obtain a weekly quest to complete six instances, regardless if they are done by yourself or with a fellowship, for some very nice rewards. Surprisingly, you can get this quest before you even unlock the instances at level 160. If you feel daring, you can even obtain the Tier 3 weekly version.

There is a weekly raid quest with its own Tier 3 weekly version available on the Quartermaster available south of Sul Madásh or among the other quest-givers in Zajâna. Interestingly, these quests have undergone some metamorphosis to prevent players from exploiting completion by switching characters at the end of the instance. Unfortunately, this initially required players to complete the entire instance in one go before leaving. A number of these changes can be seen in the Update 47.2 Release Notes.

Currency: There are three types of currency that come from the instances. The first and most basic can be earned from sheer participation, weekly quests, or completing instance deeds. The instances come with Silver Serpent while the raid comes with Blighted Relics and spent on the Mur Ghala Quartermaster. You can barter for crafting resources, music theme boxes that can be placed in your house, and cooking recipes. There are also some decorations you can obtain, though you might want to consider the similarities to the golden objects from Zajana and Black Serpent Sigil (from Crown of Hamat instance) before you decide to purchase them. There are ring upgrades available and the necklace with essence slot.

If you play above T1 or even complete the T3 weekly, you may obtain a much more rare type of currency: Cursed Gold Coin, Râkdakul's Insignia, or Cracked Ritual Stone. These can be bartered at their associated barterer in front of the instance entrance. You can see them as a blue marker on the map. Each one has different cloak and necklace essences. Even getting one of these can be enough for a non-legendary weapon, ranged item, or shield. There's also a number of interesting weapon cosmetics.

The third currency drops exclusively from the The Folly of Nagakhêdi raid. The Blight-tainted Armour Plates and Blight-tainted Cloth Scrap have a very low droprate at T1 and a higher droprate (but not guaranteed) in the higher tiers in addition to the gear. The developers snuck a chance to barter for one of these at Ally Standing on the Hunter's Guild barterer for 3 Hunter Marks each in Update 48 but withdrew the change after receiving a lot of contention online. It is possible to loot a Repair Anvil item in exchange for a recipe or obtain a Pungent Blight Mushroom bauble in the higher tiers. The Monstrous Horn and Blighted Axe can be exchanged at the special Taxidermis in Sul Madásh for rare decorations such as the wretched blade or a statue of the final raid boss.
