Crown of Hamat
Crown of Hamat
Quest Pack: Crown of Hamat is an unusual extension of the game. There are 10 missions, one 6-man instance, and "50 new quests and deeds" with no additional landscape or chapters in the Epic. Buying this quest pack does not give you the rights to the Song of Waves and Wind Epic. The quest pack costs 895 Lotro Points or free to VIP. I waited until the Determine Your Discount sale in August to bring down the cost a little.

"Mizâdi said she was sending her best. That is you, I assume?" - Surâsh
Missions: The missions are located at Iridír in Ambarûl by the other mission-giver for the Legacy of Morgoth expansion. They are bi-daily, indicating that you can only do five missions one day and the other five missions the next. They award you three of the content pack's Hamâti Urgûl coins. Since they are awarded per character, this is the only reliable way to purchase things from the quartermaster. The Tome of Evergreen Sickle-fly requires 200 while the Tome of the Russet Corgi requires 250. Considering the cost of how long it takes to do missions for two weeks, these pets can be occasionally seen on the Auction House going for 1,000g. They also provide you a reputation token choice towards one of the three factions available with Legacy of Morgoth. Considering two of them can be earned from collecting items off the ground, the Historical Ikorbâni Scroll would be the best choice.
Decorations: There aren't that many decorations available. All of them are "recycled" from previous available decorations. The book-laden table is similar to the book-strewn table given in Chapter 10.4 and book-littered table from the 12th season of the Reward Track. The market places are all variants earned from the bundle in the Reward Track as well. There are a couple versions of plants in pots and a healthy potted wisteria you can get for free from the Dragon and the Storm instance.
Deeds: There are four main deeds for this quest pack. They include discovering each of the locations, slay a number of enemies, complete the last quest in the chain, and find all the treasure caches. The treasure-seeker deed will be somewhere close to the dangerous locations you visit during the journey.
Urmâkh: Due to how the quest pack weaves into the landscape of Legacy of Morgoth, your introductory quest should lead you to Mizâdi in the third region of Imhûlar. She is considered to be the "Queen of New Hamat" to the people. Sadly, they are under heavy pressure from opposing factions who claim authority to the region. Even the scouts she sent are having a hard time staying alive long enough to determine the size of their forces. Okhíso, the tyrannical leader of the Barkhûshim cultists, now occupies the fortress of Kûr Anzar. Come to find out, he was the one that killed Mizâdi's husband Estahli. After you take down his forces, pay your respects for those who lost their lives, and reassure the merchants that they can establish their wares within the walls, you move southward to take care of yet another matter with someone claiming to be the rightful royal leader, Ekhamat. With the help of Razal and Numuru, you attack the enemy encampment. One trap after another, you follow Mizardi back to the Phetekâri.

Iridír: After spending a dozen quests taking care of the cultists and another dozen fighting with the Ekhamâti, you would think Mizardi would be a little tired. However, she asks you to head west into the first region of Ambarûl to seek an Alliance between The Sickle, the Lotus, and the Lion. If you encountered some odd things during your travels through this region like lost horses or suspicious citizens, this is the time you receive quests for those activities. You do a few checks around the area for looters, scouts, and some abandoned tools. They all agree to chase after Bârshud II into the southern desert for the Battle for Hamât.

"And I missed the Mûmak entirely! It saddens me." - Rahâzi
Hidden Fortress: Once you defeated the majority of their forces and take care of the very large distraction in your way, you head your way into Dun Shûma, the King’s Fortress. Built by an ancient Shâr of Nísaka, it is there where you suspect Bârshud seeks out one treasure in particular: the lost crown of Aragín the Queller. Holding such a thing would give his claim to the throne of Hamât legitimacy. There you must defeat Weaponmaster Mâkhragab and his myriad of traps, Ushdâla Lady of the Pride with her pet lions, and Zidunâm the Serpent Reborn.

"The new Hul must be eager to regain control of all Shagâna." - Mizâdi
