Gonzo Memorial

From the Brethren kinship, a thread was created to inform people that Gonzo from Landroval was gone. To honor him, they established an event to run his favorite Epic Battle and perform a wake by walking from the Party Tree to Celondim. This 20-minute walk ended up taking around 2 hours with the sheer number of people who were slowing down the server. Food was passed around before the event and music (like Mad World) were played by a band at the docks. Down below are some screenshots of the event:

The biggest moment was when the game stalled right over the first major bridge. It was almost like Gandalf was there shouting "You shall not pass!" but the server picked up again after about five minutes. There were other less impactful stalls between the zones around Waymeet.

The amusing thing is that the swift travel route between Needlehole and Duillond still had to be discovered or was unavailable to about half the group, including myself. There were members ready to summon and make their layer available at the docks just in time for some fireworks.
