Lyndelby - Huorn Attack

Lyndelby House - 1 Wellforth Way, Hirael Lyndelby Homesteads
  • Music: 'Tom Bombadil' Theme, 'Wildwood' Themes

Outside

  • One Mobile Enormous yard slot to rule them all. One to be seen from every direction. It appears the developers are testing a theory on whether people will throw a fit if their neighbors have a single item placed in front of their view. While I tried to implement the destroyed castle somewhere along the path of the river, carefully placing the decorative piece into the rockface proved to be a rather ingenious decision. It is both subtle enough to not to realize it came from a player and yet large enough to be seen from several vantage points.
  • While it might have been good placing the old marsh or swan fences around the property, nothing came to the right height as the tall hedges. The Edoras palisade was very nice but was a little too tall for my elvish towers.
  • The yellow flet tree can be seen within the center dome and a special elf on guard duty.
  • As much as I wanted the Standing Stone within the dome, it was a tad too overwhelming. It was placed next to it by the river.
  • A huorn is perfectly placed behind a barrier wall in front of the reflecting pool that can be seen through the pillars. A miniature siege tower is just the right height to be placed behind the wall without being seen from the main road.
  • There's several miscellaneous items scattered about near the houses like the tiny hobnanigan fields and the smaller greenhouse that blocks anyone from entering.
  • There is a tiny well-traveled turtle pet that seems to move really quickly when you aren't paying attention. Various visitors welcome you down the main road. One of them has a fancy fireworks goat and an alluring crate that screams explosion.
  • Don't have the main part of the yard distract you for too long as there is an array of four huorns coming down the mountain knocking down some of those precarious Arnorian ruins.

Inside

  • The hobbit house is rather tight-lipped with a lowered ceiling and less vegetation. You'll find a series of rooms that are rather scarce and still homey in their decor.
  • The main entrance has the study room and some small plant projects. You'll notice that the yellow flickering candle makes the ivy hanging plant sport some golden leaves. You can use the /sit command for the chair to pull it underneath you.
  • The dining room is more-or-less a place to fill-up on ale. Though, you might find yourself in another place if you drink a little too much like our currently missing dedicated painter.
  • The next room shows off some of the more hobbit-style paintings and some of Bilbo's best reading material.
  • Downstairs seems to have sprung a small leak as moisture collected in different parts down there. Though if you are careful, you'll find where they stowed away some of their firework collection.
  • You'll be able to warm yourself up with the firepits up the stairs in the main chamber as you look over some landscape material. There's some food handy if you find yourself hungry or a cozy room if you prefer a more delicate touch.
