Housing Tour Transcript

Next I'll be asking everyone to port to Bree. We are going to take a trip over to the new Broker Office that was installed just south of the fountain. Though, we aren't going to be making the traditional trip around the Prancing Pony. No, we will be heading through the residential area.

<<MARKET ON RIGHT SIDE>> "There goes the baker with his tray, like always. The same old bread and rolls to sell. Every morning just the same. Since the morning that we came" --- Oh look, there's the dwarves with their pesky mission flyers. I see they made it here safe and sound.

Once you get inside, click the book "Real Estate Ledger: Eastfold Hills." It is located on the table by the nice lady by the closet. Choose the Bickley Neighborhood and click ENTER.

Now you may not know this but the Rohan Neighborhoods have a few additional things you won't be able to get elsewhere. I'd like everyone to pop into this shack here on the left first. Once inside, there is a Rohan Ambience Finisher... I mean Furnisher. Although the lights are exclusive to Rohirrim Housing, you are able to buy any of the other items for your standard house. Buy the blue snow or the falling petals. Buy the pillar of smoke or add a waterfall with the Falling Waters decoration. If you need room in your inventory you can vendor a few things here or there is a vault in the shack on the right side of the road.
There are also quite a few things you can purchase at this Housing Broker. Unfortunately the pillars or "column surfaces" as they are so-labeled and the fire pits are exclusive to mead halls only.

<<MOVE>> There are many well-known people in this area. To our right is Frost & Sylver homes. Another one of Smelly's houses rests in the back. Shatterbone's house resides on the other sides of Elaelins.

ELAELIN HOUSE

<<USE GREEN>> From a distance you can admire the sheer height of the Thornhold Trees growing right behind the house. Upfront are a couple of Yule Trees, imported over from Frostbluff. As you can see, El is one of many proud home owners that volunteered to adopt some of Orric's people. And you can see how happy they are just by watching one of the young snowmen FLURRY around. What's that? I'm sorry, One of the Snow Not-So-Grims. These kids and their silly phases. One moment you'll see them wearing a hat and the next they'll be wearing something completely different.

<<USE LONELANDS WHISTLE>> Yes, Yes. We all love Elaelin's house.

Over here is Elaelin's old dog Buster. And he - what are you eating this time! You know you're not supposed to be chewing on strange things after what happened during the Tofu incident! *le sigh* That's what you get when you find an owner who just can't stop adopting animals.

According to my list, she currently has on the premises - dogs, cats, bats, shrews, pigs, mice, cave-claws, horses, goats, turtles, elephants, and - I've been told - an octopus? Is this thing right? I guess that explains that ominous pool in the back. She has also put a request in for... an albino squirrel in the attic... Huh. I guess the managers will get back to her on that one.

Due to safety concerns, we will not be giving mine cart rides at this moment. We've had a Karen come in and complain something about loud, squeaky breaks. I don't know. HR is working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

HOUSE

Well alright everyone, let's head to the front door of the house.

<<SCREENSHOT>> If you have your music turned up, the Vales of Anduin Secondary Theme is currently playing.

The first thing you probably noticed inside the house is this fancy bookstand. It is filled with notations of every time our infamous Blind Leaper fell to her doom. I'm just kidding. Actually, scholars have theorized that it is actually a catelog of all the misadventures of our kin. Unfortunately no one can seem to read Elaelin's handwriting, including herself.

If you look to your left, you can spot our so-called "helpful hound" still trying to track down that loose mouse I see. Maybe one day he will learn that the mouse isn't coming from behind the barrels. Speaking of which, don't touch the empty apple barrel behind this column. You might just find your body floating down the Felegoth river. Alive! Your... Your body will be ported... ugh... oh look over there!

If you wish to have a little fun, you can choose to equip some armor by clicking on General Talug's Armour Display case behind me over by the chest.

This house has 2 bedrooms, 3 study rooms, and my managers inform me that the owner wishes to call the sub-section down in the basement as "The Purple Room." Well at least it's better than that one dwarf calling theirs "The Man Cave."

<<MOVE>> Let's briskly head through the Flower Room, past the white Summerfest Bed, and around the decorative oven. Yes, I did say decorative oven. You can't actually cook anything where everything is made up and the flames don't matter.
Down here in the basement, you will discover artifacts from all over Middle-Earth.

Now let's head to the Purple Room.

<<EQUIP CHICKEN HAT & MOVE IN CENTER OF FISH POND & BUMBLEBEE PET & SCREENSHOT>> This area of the house is lined with our new patent-pending "Halls of Memory" floorboard. What you see in this area depends highly on what sort of adventures you've been through these past few years. You could see a peaceful garden or dreaded nightmares. A hobbit once told me that I was standing in the middle of a giant chocolate donut. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people I've talked to only see giant beast-like heads coming out of the walls and paintings of eyes following them wherever they went... dreadful things like that. They must still be working on the formula.

That growling sound you've been hearing while heading through the house is not coming from someone's stomach. If you follow me over to the next room, you'll see that it is coming from this little guy here.

<<MOVE & DE-EQUIP CHICKEN HAT>> Once found left wandering alone after the Battle of Pelennor Fields, it now lovingly wanders down here in the basement. At least that's what I've been told. Seems like it hasn't moved from that spot ever since we equipped it with the new rack. I'll make sure to send a note over to my supervisor.

Behind me is a tribute to the Grey Company and all their hard work assisting with the war efforts. As a toast to their adventures, we have placed down three kegs dedicated to their successes and failures. Eh please don't touch them, they're delicate.

<<WAIT>> What's that? You see a shadow of a cat? Oh! Well let's go on upstairs then.

Unlike the flower room, this room is painted exactly like the room from Elaelin's childhood. The complimentary colors of red and green in this room provides a homey atmosphere for our dear cuddly animals to roam around in... or sleep in if they so desire. It contains a pig too fat for his own good, a black cat sure to cross your path, and a mischievous cat that just adores rolling around on top of maps and scrolls. You know the rule: Once a cat lays down, it can't be moved. Oh hello kitty. /pat

<<MOVE>> Let us go upstairs and meet our new guest.

Watch for the railing cat. He likes to hang around these steps. How are you doing McFrosty... I mean your grace? Did they ever find the lost ones in Ered Luin? They did? Well that's good news. As you can see, he carries the heavy burden of keeping in contact with the families of snowmen all across Middle-Earth.

At this time you may choose to head upstairs to visit a couple of friendly bats or take a couple minutes checking out other areas of the house.
